Giving Thanks at PML in 2014

You often don’t know what you’ve got until you pause to take stock.   I’ve been looking forward to sharing a bit of gratitude for the A-level people, places and communities that Philly Marketing Labs has had the honor to connect with.   As I thought about the year coming to a close, I realized that PML is abundantly wealthy with clients, team members, communities and industries that make up our world.

PML’s clients  represent some of the most forward thinking and service minded businesses we’ve ever encountered.   We are approaching our 5th anniversary with long-time clients Allen & Sons, Bush Refrigeration and DNB First.   For many more we are in our second and third years of service.   We could not be successful without the partnership and common focus we receive from our long-term clients.

Along with our cherished clients, our team members have been with us through thick and thin.  With a burst of growth in 2012, we had many new team members join us, with many now coming up on their second anniversaries.   Outside of the founding partners Bechara, Kim and Skip, our longest tenured team member is Jibin Varghese – with us since August of 2012.

Our extended team was well represented by our productive and helpful partners.   The People Skills Group helped us build a more coherent team.  On Balance Group helped us get our books in order.  Human Resources Rx helped us with our first employee and team member guides.   A Mix of Pixels, Yikes, Symetris, Offshorent, LB Design helped us to deliver some first rate Websites for our clients this year.  My apologies if I missed you or your company on this list.  So many great people pitched in and helped with PML.

Our community grew this year as we joined other businesses making their home on the 5th floor of  1150 First Avenue, King of Prussia.    We met Bill Miles and his team at Intelligent Office, learned about how they could meet our unique business needs and never looked back.    We’re now holding our quarterly Main Line Digital Marketing meetup in our new offices.   Please join us if you are at all interested in digital marketing!  We have over 540 members.

While our new location is keeping us busy in the ‘burbs, we were honored by the Philadelphia 100 as a “fastest growing company in the Philadelphia area”.   We ranked #26 out of #100.   Bechara vowed to break that milestone in upcoming years.   It was a great honor – and we thank the Wharton SBDC, the Philadelphia Business Journal, CBiz and the host of other sponsors who made the award possible.

Finally, on the global side of things, three of our team attended the Google Top Contributors Summit in Mountain View.   Two of our team members, Kim Clinkunbroomer and Tommy Sands, were recognized as Adwords Forum Top Contributors by Google.    Kim presented at the conference.  Catch Kim on YouTube as she talks about the pitfalls of brand blunders.
