Giving Back in 2018 – Tommy Sands

Many of us are quite fortunate to have strong support systems, family and friends that we can count on when times get tough or when facing difficult challenges. For others though, that same support may not exist and in these cases, the Community Relief Organization (CRO) of Mount Holly shines. With the belief and understanding that no one is exempt from trials and even crisis, the CRO responds with compassion and respect. From Food Pantry Services to Housing and Utilities Assistance and more, the CRO provides assistance to over 5,000 residents per year. Since 1952, the CRO has been a central place for neighbors in need to receive emergency assistance.

Beyond many services that are provided on a regular basis throughout the year, The CRO also organizes Annual Toy Drives and Angel Tree initiatives to help make the holidays a little brigher for some local families and children in need. Through the generous donation we were able to make, we sponsored 5 children who will now have the opportunity to enjoy opening some gifts this year.
